Welcome to this week’s edition of Neuro Nuggets.
Nuggets are dense, shiny, interesting and valuable.
I try to deliver this in the form of ideas to fuel your curiosity and creativity.
Enjoy!
Quote of the Day:
Upon closer inspection, the dichotomy turned out to be a spectrum.
Darn, happens way more often than you think.
Thoughts:
Its super unnatural to see clouds from the top if you think about it.
Storytime:
Semantic snapshots #4:
Say these 6 sentences one after the other. Taste the difference in meaning, watch the progression and enjoy the pun.
I really don't drink.
I don't drink.
I don't really drink.
I rarely drink.
I really drink.
I rarely don't drink.
One question for you:
What is a question that answers itself?
Find of the week:
http://duginart.com/gallery.html
This is a link to a portfolio of an artist that I absolutely adore. When I was younger, I was read a book that featured his artwork so the style will always be nostalgic to me. It’s a very distinct style too and I think even if you haven’t seen his artwork before, it actually lends itself to nostalgia as a theme. The graininess and esoteric contents definitely smell like deja vu.
Gratitude:
I am grateful that majority of the time I can look over my left shoulder without needing to turn my entire body. When I can't I notice it, when I can I don't. So I'm using the time when I can't constructively - to be grateful for the time that I can. It’s a seriously underrated movement and it’s absence is sorely missed.
Time is precious, attention is time.
Thank-you for spending it on this.
