Welcome to this week’s edition of Neuro Nuggets.
Nuggets are dense, shiny, interesting and valuable.
I try to deliver this in the form of ideas to fuel your curiosity and creativity.
Enjoy!
Quote of the Day:
If only closed minds came with closed mouths.
If only.
Thoughts:
You see every person as a possibility space of everything they could mean to you. Until you talk to them, the pattern-matching and conceptual grouping can't begin. They hover in an infinite permutational value space and it's exhausting to compute.
Storytime:
One time I was sitting in the sun and a bug flew into my face so I got annoyed before I realized it was a lady bug so then I wasn’t annoyed anymore. I put it on my knee and it sat there and then flew away. It was orange and very cute.
One question for you:
When you feel like there should be a reason for something happening, ask yourself why you feel like there should be a reason. Then ask yourself why you should ask yourself why you feel there should be a reason. Might yield unexpected results.
Find of the week:
Been spamming his album on repeat lately. Beautiful, beautiful music.
Gratitude:
I am grateful for coffee-table table-cloths. I like to change the table-cloth in the flat at least once a month. It refreshes the space in a way. Each individual cloth isn’t better than the next, it’s more that the change affords some visual interest that’s quite welcome after a while. I am grateful for that.
Time is precious, attention is time.
Thank-you for spending it on this.
